still though. Typing on your lap with peering downward still will seem awkward. I’m sure we will find out once it is finally released. The future of computing will eventually do away with keyboard inputs all together imo.

I understand your thoughts regarding actually holding one and you cant answer. However, your argument is skewed. you could compare almost any product in the US to a kindle and this random product would be a better value. THe kindle is the most overpriced item in technology today. comparing the ipad to the kindle doesnt entirely work, but i get your point. If it supported java and had a webcam than it would be worth it, but these are the 2 clenchers that are really making this not worth it.

apple does not want skype to take over the iphone & thats why they didnt put a camera in. also i dont think at&t has the networks for video calls just yet. according to gizmodo, at&t & apple both support voip over 3g/wifi so, with the right apps, u could replace the iphone for $30/mo instead of $85/mon

ifail xD, not apple fan or hater but i recognize that apple had been creating quite innovative products for the last decade or w.e. but this is quite disapointing, it does less than an iphone. no camera, no multitasking,no phone, 200 bucks more. for bigger screen? and bigger screen is not a pro for everyone. in my opinion lenovos idealpad or HPslate will pwn this, because apple wanted to keep the ultra thin and shiny look. they sacrificed a lot of features. guess some like shiny more than useful

if your laptop takes two hours to load, buy a new one. yes i know this was exageration, but it shouldnt even be that slow. however, i would love netbooks to be the future, atleast instead of iPads. i have nothing against it, but simply because of cult following and people who want “simpler” things, and all the hype, all the random idiots screaming about how it will kill the desktop might be right.
