If I buy the Kindle device & purchase books, can I transfer data to comp for printing & have it read aloud?

I have tried to do the same thing…..I don’t think so. You may want to call Kindle support and see.
You know the Kindle 2 is coming out soon, first quarter of next year I would wait if I were you.
I have tried this and it did not work for me. You can always call their support. And like the other answerer said, it might be a good idea to wait for the Kindle 2. Up to you though!
